Having realized early natural talent for artistic expression, Tom's training includes private tutoring in Venice, Italy and courses at the Worchester Art Museum School and AIPH. More recently, he has taken classes in ceramics at Immaculata University, where he is a member of Sister Trinita Marie Amorosi's sculpture group.
Tom has worked in construction, steel fabrication, fine arts picture framing, and professional photography. Now he has returned to his first love of sculpting.
Working in stone, ceramic, bronze, and wood, Tom continually challenges himself, seeking to capture form, movement, personality, and natural beauty, which bring each of his unique works to life. He most recently has added steel manipulation techniques to his repertoire.
Tom has participated in two SEPCHE honor conferences, and has exhibited his work at the Abington Art Center, Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (Villanova), Arts in the City (Raymond James), Chester County Art Association, Daylesford Abbey, Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, Immaculata University, Malvern Retreat House, Wayne Art Center, and Yellow Springs Art Shows. In the spring of 2014, Tom exhibited his work as part of a 2-artist show at the Boyer Gallery in Pottstown, PA.
