JAM Gallery Artists

Lore Evans

Lore Evans is an accomplished and professional glass artist. She has been creating originally designed stained glass for over 20 years. Having mastered the craft of stained glass, she has incorporated fused, hand painted, and metal techniques to create unique glass art.

Lore attended Santa Fe College and the University of Florida both in the art departments. She is self- taught in stained glass and is a commissioned custom designed artist who works closely with her clients, their interior designers, and architects and home builders. She listens to their ideas and creates personalized windows, doors, cabinets, and counters to blend with the style of the home or office. She prefers for her art to blend into and become part of its surroundings. Her favorite compliment is “when clients say that they feel my art was always meant to be there.” Her art can be seen in Florida, California, and New Mexico as well as throughout the North East including Manhattan, NY and Vermont. Lore is proud to be involved in her community. She has been a chamber member and the Branch President of the National League of American Pen Women and Artists. Lore also served 6 years as a board member of International Furniture and Designer Association. She is a council member and corresponding secretary for the Delaware Art Museum. Lore stays involved with several non-profits to promote their cause.

Lore has had several articles highlighting her Glass Gallery studio in Hunt Magazine, New Jersey Home, Professional Home Builder, Delaware Today Magazine, Main Line Today, and the Philadelphia Magazine.

Lore works from her quaint converted barn studio, The Glass Gallery, which is located in the beautiful Brandywine Valley in Chadds Ford.
