Jeremy Sims is an international artist who specializes in atypical craft, Modern Design and atmospheric firing. After recieving his BFA in Ceramics from the Maryland Institute College of Art under the tutelage of David East in 2011 he began traveling across America working for several art studios including Baltimore Clayworks, The Chesapeake Art Center, Guldagergaard and others. He has shown internationally and his work is privately owned in Japan, Europe, and The States. He has exhibited through Baltimore Clayworks, The Blue Line Art Center, Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center (as a part of the permanent collection) and through project KIT, The Bank Gallery, The Consortium Gallery and The Oliver-Francis Gallery to name a few.
Jeremy currently works for The Wayne Art Center as a teacher and technician. His work can currently be seen in Dallas, Seattle, Philadelphia, Denmark, and Baltimore. He is expected to show in the Baltimore Washington International Airport and will be conducting a curated show entitled "Made in Amerika" In the fall of 2013.
